TEAM MADISON

I'm a single mother of 4 children. My daughter Madison was born with a rare chromosome disorder called Criduchat Syndrome. Before she was born, doctors told us to expect that she would never walk or talk. Madison is a very determined little girl. She started walking when she was 6 years old, and she has a few words that she is able to say. Madison is such a character; she makes everyone around her laugh and smile all the time!

I am now going through a divorce and it has taken a toll on both me and my children, emotionally and financially. I knew it was the right decision to make, but being a single mother to 4 children (one of them being severely disabled) has turned our world upside down. No one understands the struggles we go through every day just to put food on the table, or gas in the car to get my children to school or doctors' appointments. It is my children that keep me smiling and keep me going through this hard time.
